BRIEF: 3 girls injured during pepper spray incident at South Side high school

Nov. 19--Someone inside a high school discharged pepper spray Wednesday afternoon, injuring three female students at the school in the North Kenwood neighborhood, authorities said.

The three suffered upset stomachs following the incident at King College Prep High School, 4445 S. Drexel Blvd., according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford.

They were taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital in good condition, Langford said.

Police said no one was badly hurt.
