Aug. 13--All lanes on the 210 Freeway reopened Thursday morning after a crash at the end of a police pursuit resulted in eastbound lanes being shut down for hours.
The pursuit involving the South Gate Police Department began after 12:45 a.m. in Azusa and ended on the 210 Freeway west of California 57 in Glendora, police said.
The eastbound lanes were reopened after 7 a.m. Some westbound lanes on the 210 were also closed, but they reopened by 6:15 a.m.

Details about the pursuit were not immediately available, but KCBS-TV reported that South Gate detectives were looking for an attempted murder suspect in Azusa.
Detectives followed the suspect onto the 210 Freeway, where he drove on the wrong side of the road, KCBS reported.
The suspect exited his SUV, ran onto the freeway and was struck, the news station reported.
Los Angeles County fire officials said they responded to the incident at 12:44 a.m. A person was transported to an area trauma center.
