Feb. 26--Two people including a 15-year-old boy were injured in separate shootings Thursday, according to Chicago police.
The 15-year-old boy was dropped off at Mount Sinai Hospital on Thursday afternoon after he was shot on the West Side, according to police.
The boy was wounded in the 3300 block of West Flournoy Street in the Homan Square neighborhood about 2:15 p.m., police said.
He was standing outside when someone shot him. Police said he's in good condition and suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
In a separate shooting about 6:25 p.m., police found a 28-year-old with a gunshot wound to his face near the corner of 45th and Wood Streets in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition. No one is in custody and Area Central detectives are investigating.
