BRIEF: 2 Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies arrested in separate incidents

Oct. 03--Two sheriff's deputies who worked in Santa Clara County jails have been arrested in separate investigations.

The Associated Press reported that the Sheriff's Department on Friday announced the arrests of Ryan Saunders and Mark Navarette.

Saunders is accused of accessing confidential records of people he knew, while Navarette is accused of claiming that an injury he sustained in a softball game happened at work, falsely filing for worker's compensation
