March 24--Two people were shot Wednesday evening in Beach Park in Lake County, police said.
Lake County sheriff's officers were called to the 39000 block of North Sheridan Road about 6:50 p.m. for a call of shots fired, a Lake County sheriff's spokesman said.
There, police found two people who were shot, said Christopher Covelli, the sheriff's spokesman. Details about the ages and sex of the victims, their conditions and where they were taken for treatment, as well as the circumstances of the shootting, were not immediately clear.
