March 26--Two men were seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side, authorities said.
The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 90/94 just south of 83rd Street, according to Illinois State Police.
A 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were taken in critical-to-serious conditions to Advocate Christ Medical Center, said Chicago Fire Department Cmdr. Curtis Hudson.
The 23-year-old was driving the white Chevrolet when it crashed. He suffered elbow and eye injuries, Hudson said.
The other man was a passenger in the car, and he had leg injuries, Hudson said.
No other information about the accident was immediately available.
