Jan. 28--Four people were injured in daytime shootings Wednesday, police said.
The first shooting happened at 10 a.m. on the 600 block of East 67 Street, said Police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic. The shooting happened at a Laundromat, witnesses said.
A 19-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Sedevic said.
At 10:20 a.m., a man in his 30s was shot on the 4300 block of West Cermak Road, police said.
The man was shot in his ankle and leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition had stabilized, Sedevic said.
Then at about 12:50 p.m., police discovered that two men who were in a vehicle were shot, police said. They were pulled over on the 3700 block of West Lake Street when they were on their way to a hospital, police said.
One of the victims, a 25 year old, was shot in the neck. The second man, a 23 year old was shot in the hand. Both men were taken to Mount Sinai hospital. The second man's condition had stabilized while the condition of the older man was not immediately known, police said.
