Jan. 18--Police are conducting a death investigation after finding two people dead in an Avondale apartment Sunday evening, officials have said.
Officers responding to a first-floor apartment in the 3400 block of North Pulaski Road at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday found an 18-year-old woman unresponsive on the bedroom floor and a 50-year-old man unresponsive underneath a table in the kitchen, law enforcement sources said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the woman as Thalia Tellez, of the 3700 block of North Spaulding Avenue. Authorities have not yet publicly identified the man.
The incident likely was drug-related, according to a police source.
