Aug. 08--Two Plainfield men were killed in a head-on collision on the Stevenson Expressway in Bolingbrook early Saturday, according to the Illinois State Police.
Ariel Dorado, 25, and Daniel Zamora, 20, were both killed, according to a statement from state police.
Dorado was behind the wheel of a 2004 Dodge Stratus going south in the northbound lanes when he crashed head-on into the front of a 1998 Acura being driven by Zamora.
Zamora, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
It happened just south of Interstate 355 about 3 a.m., a state police spokesman said.
The cars contained no passengers.
Police are still investigating the crash, the spokesman said. It's not yet known whether drugs and alcohol were involved.
