Oct. 17--Two men were killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in northwest suburban Lake in the Hills, officials said.
Shortly after midnight, police were called to the intersection of Oak Street and Pyott Road for an automobile accident, according to a release from the McHenry County coroner's office.
According to reports, a northbound vehicle veered off the road and became airborne before landing on its roof. The driver and passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.
The identities of the men were not being released pending family notification.
The crash is under investigation by the Lake in the Hills Police Department and the McHenry coroner's office.
