March 17--Two women have been charged with prostitution following a police sting operation at massage parlors in St. Charles.
Xinnian Hu, 48, Chicago, was changed with prostitution and practicing massage without a license at Best Massage at 2774 E. Main St. Ok Kim, 62, Chicago, was charged with prostitution at Main Spa, 504 E. Main St.
On Tuesday, investigators from the St. Charles Police Department conducted an undercover operation at some businesses that offer massages. An agent went into the business and requested a massage. At two of the businesses, the person giving the massage offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money.
The agent immediately left the business and notified detectives, who then took the offender into custody.
Hu and Kim posted bond and were released. They will appear in Kane County Court April 21.
In addition, administrative charges will be coming for each of the businesses, police said.
