BRIEF: 1-year-old boy hurt by falling brick in Ravenswood

May 01--A 1-year-old boy was injured by a brick that fell off a building in the Ravenswood neighborhood Thursday afternoon, according to police.

The debris came from a building in the 2100 block of West Lawrence Avenue about 3:10 p.m.

The boy was taken to Lurie Children's Hospital in fair-to-serious condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Police and fire officials said the boy's condition had stabilized.
