BRIEF: 1 seriously injured in West Humboldt Park crash

Dec. 26--One person was seriously injured in a crash in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

About 1:50 a.m. Saturday, a car crashed into a pole in the 4500 block of West Division Street. Another car then hit that car, said Chicago Fire Department Cmdr. Walter Schroeder.

One person was taken by ambulance to Stroger Hospital in serious to critical condition. No information was immediately available about the person's age or gender.
