Nov. 12--One person was killed in a car crash Wednesday in North Hills after a flatbed truck hauling tractor equipment ran over a sedan, authorities said.
Paramedics were called to the 15800 block of Plummer Street at 6:10 a.m., said Los Angeles Fire spokesman Shawn Lenske. One person died at the scene, he said.
There were no other reports of injuries.
The identity of the person killed in the crash was not immediately available.
Los Angeles police and coroner's officials were investigating the crash, including its cause.
