BRIEF: Driver killed in Brighton Park crash

July 15--A 20-year-old man died after crashing his car into a tree early Wednesday in the Brighton Park neighborhood, police said.

He was driving in the 4500 block of South Archer Avenue at 12:55 a.m. when his vehicle struck a tree, according to Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago police spokesman.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he died of his injuries, authorities said.

He was identified as Luis V. Ocampo-Solis of the 5200 block of South Lawndale Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
