Sept. 04--The campus of Sacramento City College was locked down Thursday afternoon as police searched for a gunman who shot three men, killing one, authorities said.
The three men were shot near the college's baseball field, located near the 3800 block of Freeport Boulevard, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
One man was pronounced dead. Police say two others were taken to the hospital; their conditions were not known.
The gunman was described as wearing cargo shorts, but no shirt.
