A group of travellers with horse-drawn caravans that have moved onto some land in south Bristol have been served with trespass notices.
The group is occupying the land in front of the Bristol Water HQ, off the busy Bridgwater Road in Bedminster Down.
Several horses could be seen at the site on Wednesday afternoon, as well as dogs and some chickens.

Bristol City Council has now said it was aware of the vehicles and the occupants have been visited to carry out welfare assessments.
The council said they have been offered space on the council's transit site and that trespass notices have been served, with proceedings started for a possession order.
A Bristol City Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of five vehicles that have moved onto Bridgwater Road in Bedminster Down, outside the Bristol Water depot.
"We have visited the occupants to carry out welfare assessments and they have been offered space on our transit site.
"Trespass notices have been served and proceedings started for a possession order.’’
Earlier this year, a traveller who had lived in vehicles for more than three decades spoke about what it is like to lead a nomadic life these days.
Bishopsworth Conservative councillor Richard Eddy accused the council of being a “soft-touch” when dealing with travellers.
He said: "The council really must take effective action to remove them for good.”
