Bridgerton: When is season two out on Netflix?

This time last year a TV phenomenon launched on Netflix.

The first series of Bridgerton dropped and in weeks it had achieved 111m views. Sadly, it's not looking like the Shondaland and Netflix production will be a Christmas present we can expect in 2021.

So when will it be on?

Netflix's media site has it down as 'coming soon' and recent reports say that filming, delayed by Covid this past year, wrapped just in late November.

On Christmas Day they announced series two would return on March 25.

Adjoa Andoh, Lady Danbury in the show, told Good Morning Britain that they'd had a few 'squeaky days' while filming, following reports that the production had been shut down three times due to positive Covid tests on set.

"Everything’s been tough for everybody doing all sorts of jobs during the pandemic," she told the show.

"We had a few squeaky days but I think overall we did pretty great actually, considering it’s such a vast array of filming."

Show runner Chris Van Duren shared an Instagram post which told that filming had wrapped and signed off with "We’ll be coming in 'fire emojis' in 2022".

The second series is set to follow Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) – brother of series one’s main character Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor). But sadly Regé-Jean Page, Simon, won't be back.
