The stars of Netflix's highly anticipated Bridgerton looked sensational as they stepped out on the red carpet tonight.
New leading lady Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma, ditched her Regency garbs and bared her navel in a black lace two-piece, revealing black hot pants underneath.
Her glossy black hair flowed over her shoulders and she added a delicate nude lip and smokey eye shadow to complete her look.
The actress behind Kate's sister Edwina, Charithra Chandrran, wore an off-the-shoulder number.
She wore her hair in a low pony tail and added a pop of red lipstick to match the flowers on her white gown.
While Golda Rosheuvel, who plays the formidable Queen Charlotte, lived up to her regal character with a green embellished cape over a white floor-length gown..
She wore heavy grey eyeshadow and added a pair of oversized diamond earrings to complete her sophisticated look.
Worlds away from her character Prudence Featherington, Bessie Carter opted for a silver wrap dress with a daring split running up one leg.
She piled her curly hair on top of her head, allowing individual waves to flow down around her face.
Fans will be able to get their fix of 18th century scandal this week after the second series returns.
The second season follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest of the Bridgerton siblings, as he sets out to find a suitable wife.
The show has been met with mixed reviews ahead of its second series, with critics warning that it's not as raunchy as its predecessor.
But creator of the show Chris van Dusen defended the lack of naughtiness, adding they refuse to do sex scenes for the sake of it.
He said: "It was never about quantity for us," he explained. "Our approach to intimacy on the show really is the same as season 1.
"And we use these intimate scenes to tell a story and to push the story forward. We've never done a sex scene for the sake of doing a sex scene, and I don't think we ever will."
"There is so much sexiness in the looks across the room and the hands grazing and the fingers almost touching. You can really feel that build from episode to episode and you know that when we get there, the climax - if you will - is going to be well worth it.”
He explained that Daphne, played by Phoebe Dynevor, and Simon, played by Rege-Jean Page, were "very different characters".
Simone Ashley, who plays Kate, agreed: “It makes sense for these characters because they’re so protective over their families and so truthful to their duty and their responsibility.
"For them to break that wouldn’t have made sense. The sex scenes have a meaning behind them - they’re very earned when the fireworks happen.”
The showrunner revealed that he's stepping down for season three, explaining that it was "time for him to move on".
Bridgerton was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 in April last year and is expected to continue to adapt Julia Quinn's book series.
The new series will follow the love life of Phoebe's brother Anthony, who carries the responsibilities to uphold his family duty and marry.
According to Netflix's press release: "Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate and her younger sister Edwina Sharma arrive from India.”
Ahead of the launch, Golda Rosheuvel, who plays Queen Charlotte in the show, said viewers will be able to discover more about the royal's "traumatic relationship".

She told the Express: "I think the love story for her is obviously with her beautiful, gorgeous husband who's going through some deep trauma.
“You know, we could have written a one-dimensional character who has fabulous frocks and beautiful wigs and goes to the balls and does gossip.
“But you get to see her humanity.
“You get to see her vulnerability in those scenes and you know, to play that as an actress is, is everything because you want to play a fully rounded character."
