'Bridezilla' demands fiancé get second job to fund extravagant £64k wedding

A woman has been branded a 'Bridezilla' after demanding that her future husband get a second job to fund their extravagant $80,000 (£64,000) wedding .

Although she expects her fiancé to work around the clock, the unnamed bride-to-be revealed that she has quit her own job because it was 'taking up so much time'.

A screenshot of the woman's comment went viral after it was posted to the Bridezilla group on Reddit , sparking fury from incredulous social media users.

The woman explained that she did not have enough time to commute and get ready for work everyday while putting in the hours to plan her big day.

Unsurprisingly, her fiancé refused to give into her demands and she wrote to the bridal Facebook group Bride Vibes for advice on how to change his mind.

She added that she had been "dreaming" of having a perfect wedding since she was younger and would not let anyone get in her way.

She finishes with: "Whatever happened to 'happy life, happy wife.'"?

Reddit users urged the future groom to get out of the relationship with the 'Bridezilla' while he had the chance.

One commenter wrote: "This level of bridezilla is not going to be any less entitled as a wife, especially if she’s already spouting s**t like 'happy wife, happy life,' and quitting her job and demanding he take a second one,' a commenter with the handle @ArchDemenBlood wrote.

A second person said: "Big oof on that one... so many red flags, hopefully that guy saves himself before he’s actually married to that."

Another simply said: "Run, Forrest, run."

Earlier this month, a woman named Emily recently revealed her wedding cost £131,000, despite not having a job.

However after losing her job, she wasn't able to afford to pay for all the luxuries she wanted - but that didn't stop her from having an extravagant day costing more than £131,000.

Speaking to Refinery29, the 29-year-old from Phoenix, Arizona broke down the cost of her wedding and admitted she only contributed to a "few little extras".

She said: "My parents paid for basically everything. I paid for a few little 'extras' like my bridesmaid's gifts, but I lost my job a month after getting engaged, so I didn't have an income for about half of the time I was wedding planning.
