While all couples want their wedding to to be as perfect as possible, one bride has been criticised for taking it to extremes.
A wife-to-be shared her strict list of requirements for her bridesmaids to adhere to on Reddit, according to the Daily Star.
One rule includes all of them having to fit into US size eight dresses, which is equivalent to size 12 in the UK.
Another adds that they must make sure that they all have shoulder length, straight hair.
And most shockingly of all, she has asked her guests for a donation of $500 or £350 to pay for her Hawaii honeymoon.
The demanding woman wrote: “Just a few things to ask. I hand picked all the dresses and bridesmaids that will be there. They will all be a size 8."
She continued: “So if you’re not a size 8 I recommend hitting the gym.
"No offence to anyone but I have had this planned since I was in diapers and want it to be perfect.
“Your nails need to be cut short and uncoloured.
“Hair needs to be shoulder length and straightened. So if your hair is short get extensions.
“No fake tan.”
She adds: “We also want no kids at the ceremony. Except my flower girl.
“She will only be present to throw flowers then her parents are taking her home.
“I’m sorry if these seems like a lot of demands but this is my special day and just want it like I always pictured.
“Please be respectful and we will have an awesome time.
“One last thing – I’ll be sending my Venmo and cash app to the ones who haven’t paid the $500 towards honeymoon in Hawaii.
“Love you guys. Can’t wait to be a wifey.”
A guest clearly wasn’t impressed with the demands as they leaked the conversation on Reddit.
They shared screenshots with the comment: “I’ve officially dropped out of the bridal party. I’m a size 12 with no plans on dropping to a size 8 by December.”
The post garnered 61,000 upvotes and many were equally horrified by the requests.
One responder said: “I really hope she gets a well deserved reality check and there's only 4 people at her wedding.”
Another wrote: “Can she just get a bunch of mannequins from the mall as bridesmaids instead? That's basically what she's demanding they act as.”
And a third added: “What a horrible, terrible, person.”
