When it comes to planning a wedding, most brides spend hours going over every detail to make sure their special day turns out as imagined.
And one bride-to-be has not only spent 14 years planning her dream day, but also plotting her revenge on her closest family.
Speaking to Reddit, the 23-year-old explained how she has banned her mum, dad and older brother from her wedding because they rehomed her childhood dog.
She said: "I am getting married to my fiancé, who I met in college.
"Most of his immediate and extended family will be there, as well as most of my extended.

"However, I am only planning on inviting my younger sister to the wedding. This means that my mum, dad and brother will not be coming.
"The reason for this is when I was younger (around nine) my parents rescued a golden retriever puppy from the shelter, named Harry.
"My family quickly fell in love with Harry, however, I feel as though my bond with him was extra special.
"This changed when my older brother began complaining about allergies, which we later found out was due to Harry.
"My parents told us that we'd have to rehome Harry, but assured us that he'd be going to a good home."
Wanting to keep her dog, she asked her parents to put her brother on allergy medication instead.
However, they quickly shot this idea down.
Although her dog did go to a good home, she has never forgiven her family for rehoming Harry and has been plotting her revenge ever since.
The woman, who grew up in the UK, added: "To say that I resented them for it would be an understatement, which was part of the reason for me going to college in the US.
"Needless to say, my family didn't take the wedding news lightly. When they asked me why, I explained to them that I hadn't forgiven them for rehoming Harry, and that their presence would make things awkward for me.
"My parents are apparently really upset about this, according to my older brother, who called me 'evil' for doing what I'm doing, since my parents paid for my college tuition, as well as helping me pay the rent for my current apartment.
"My fiancé says that it's up to me, and that if I don't want my family at my wedding, then he isn't going to disagree with me."
While most users agreed the parents were right to rehome the dog, others called out the woman for being "spoilt" and "underappreciative".
One user said: "The parents were just trying to help their son live a comfortable life. It's sad, but the dog would have been fine.
"This excuse is so petty and entitled given the woman is an adult still living off her parents. They must be so hurt."
Another user added: "It’s very shallow and entitled. I hope the parents cut off the entitled brat. Just wow."
A third user said: "Who would want to marry someone like this?
"That level of pettiness, selfishness, and lack of morals in accepting her parents’ money is such a giant red banner.
"He’s a complete idiot for still going through with the marriage."
