Bride-to-be's nightmare as she receives 'ugliest shoes ever seen’ - two weeks ahead of wedding

Every little girl dreams of the moment that she chooses her wedding outfit - a dream-like fairytale that has lasted many years.

The moment, therefore, is meant to be far from a nightmare.

TikTok user Cassidy Marie Robertson explained her devastating yet hilarious ordeal which meant that she was left without her matrimonial footwear just two weeks ahead of the big day.

She had to wait four months for the shoes to arrive - only to find they were the "ugliest shoes [she's] ever seen".

Despite flying out to the special location the following day - where she'll tie the knot with her partner - Cassidy was happy to giggle about the nightmare situation.

"I need help," she said. "So, I ordered my wedding shoes three and half months ago.

"My wedding is now in two weeks - and I fly to the location tomorrow."

Trying to hold back laughter, she continued: "Guys, these are the ugliest shoes I've ever seen.

"What the heck is that?" She said as she motioned towards the shoes. "What is that?"

She joked that the shoes make her look like a 'mummy' (@cassidymarierobertson/TikTok)

"What is that?" She reiterated. "This doesn't scream bridal!"

"Because these shoes look like I'm about to cosplay the mummy - maybe if anyone has a brand of shoe or an idea, please let me know because your girl needs wedding shoes now."

Viewers fled to the comment section of the video - which has surpassed two million views to date - to share their thoughts on the ordeal.

Many came to Cassidy's aid to share suggestions on how to rectify the situation last minute - whilst others roasted the shoes for their appearance.

"If you are on a time crunch just go to whatever shoes shop and get a glittery or a cream heeled sandal maybe? Just simple and effective," one user suggested.

A user joked: "'Surely she’s being dramatic…' Was not prepared for you to pull out foot bagels."

"Looks like those dog treats/toys that looks like a bone," a second user teased.

A third penned: "No one gonna talk bout how they took nearly four months to arrive tho."

Cassidy replied: "That’s what I’m saying!!!!! Not the four month wait time for clown shoes."
