A bride-to-be says she was left in tears after her wedding venue "moved" her booking to make way for a dance competition.
The couple had already had to move their booking due to the coronavirus pandemic once - and had shelled out £400 to rearrange their honeymoon too.
Charlotte Meigh, 27, said she was told the couple's date for their big day at North Stafford Hotel in Stoke on April 30, 2022 was no longer available.
She told Stoke-on-Trent Live her wedding to fiance Adam Simpson was moved so the venue cost host a dance competition instead after the couple paid a £500 deposit, booked a photographer and venue dressers.
Charlotte, from Kidsgrove, claims she was told by the staff member she spoke to that the venue had now been booked out for a dance competition - apparently despite her reserving it for the wedding.

Now she wants her deposit back. But her biggest worry about the wedding being put back further is that her stepdad Gareth, aged 62, is losing his sight.
She said: “I cried when the hotel phoned me about the date. They have let me down because they told me that was my date and everything is booked. The service is shocking.
“I’ve got a wedding dress, a photographer, venue dressers, a wedding car and honeymoon - but nowhere to get married.
“All my suppliers have lost loads of money this year. If I have to cancel my wedding they have lost my money as well. I like my other suppliers, and don’t want to lose them, they’ve been so helpful.
“I hope that nobody else ends up in the situation that we are in and I hope another venue will see this and tell me that they are available so I can book somewhere else and give my money to a venue which deserves it."

She said she desperately wanted stepdad Gareth to see the big day.
She added: "He worked for JCB and was off sick for his eyes and then he couldn’t work there anymore because it was too much of a hazard to go in.
“If I can’t get a date next year then it’s not going to be the wedding of my dreams because my stepdad won’t be able to see it. It would mean everything for him to see me walk down the aisle.”
The Mirror has approached owner the Britannia Hotels group for comment.
Britannia and the North Stafford Hotel did not respond to requests for comment from StokeonTrentLive.
