Bride-to-be fumes over friend's hen do prank that nearly 'cost her relationship'

A bride-to-be was left horrified after her 'best friend' pulled a prank on her that could have cost her relationship.

A screenshot posted to Reddit explains how the bride was out with her pals celebrating her hen do when the incident occurred.

"So it was my hen night last night. Everyone was drunk my bridesmaid - also best mate was out with us," she said.

"I said I wanted to go home so my best mate walked me to the train station separating me from the group only to leave me at the station on my own drunk to then ring my other half and tell him I had gone off with another man."

Luckily, her partner didn't believe the friend.

"Just imagine if that one comment she made could of cost me my whole relationship" the bride continues.

"She has not messaged me since and didn't even message last night to check I got back okay."

The woman concluded the post by saying that she doesn't know what to do now as she gets married in two weeks as isn't sure if she wants her 'best friend' to be a bridesmaid or even a guest after the prank.

Reddit users were quick to share their thoughts on the story, with one person saying: "What the hell is wrong with that "friend"!?!"

Another wrote: "The simple conclusion is the bridesmaid secretly wanted you to break up so she can get the groom. The behaviour supports it."

A third surmised: "The 'friend' wants the groom-to-be."

"Keep your friends close, and your true love’s fiancée closer," someone else wrote.

But a few others wondered whether it was the bride who was lying, and not her friend.

One person said: "I think it’s true and she’s making up this story to cover her tracks and make herself the victim."

"I don’t buy it. I’ve seen too many people throw scapegoats under the bus with these public accusations to cover their ass when they get caught cheating," Added wrote.

While a third suspicious user commented: "Seems likely she left with someone and needs to deflect the hOrRor oF CoNsEqUeNCes".
