Bride raging as dress looks 'nothing like order' - but shop says it's same one

A woman has shared her shock after complaining to a bridal store that her wedding dress "looked nothing like" the one she had ordered, only to be told it was the same gown. But what sounds like a bride's nightmare come to life was in fact all a hilarious mishap, as the woman went on to explain.

The bride-to-be was initially distraught after trying on her dress and contacted the store she purchased it from, to demand a refund. You see, instead of the mermaid gown she was after, she believed she had received a much looser-fitting dress, without several of the beautiful embellishments included in the one she had tried in the shop.

But it turned out the store had sent the correct dress, and it was the bride who made a mistake, much to her embarrassment when she found out. Luckily, she saw the funny side of things, later laughing about a "blonde moment", which had seen her try on the gown inside out.

Revealing the mix-up, and the awkward conversation that followed, in a post to Facebook, the customer wrote: "Two weeks ago my wedding dress came in. I was really upset about the looks of it and sent an angry email to the company wanting to return it.

"I took pictures of me in the dress telling them it looked nothing like what I had ordered.

"Well, today I received this response from the company 'you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way'. Who knew that they shipped wedding dresses inside out? ...the dress actually turned out beautiful.

"Sometimes it doesn't matter how much school we put behind us....we’re still going to lack common sense, like how to put clothes on properly." And she wasn't the only person to find the interaction highly amusing, if the comments left on her post, which was shared hundreds of times, are anything to go by.

One person wrote: "Girl I'm over here dying to see pictures of you with it inside out." Someone else said: "I just p***ed myself." And another added: "Thank you for this! I needed the laugh! I just love you! You looked beautiful, even inside out!"
