Bride mortified as flower fail before first dance almost ruined her wedding

When it comes to weddings, every couple hopes the day will run as smoothly as possible.

But as with everything else in life, nothing is perfect and the path to true love never did run smooth.

We've recently heard how one bride almost ruined her wedding after suffering a cake fail on the big day and now we've seen how another nearly set fire to their venue right before the first dance.

Bride Emily Jackson, who posts on TikTok as @emilyljackson, has gone viral after sharing a look at the bouquet blunder that could have ruined her special day.

In the video, she shows herself and the groom in their barn-style venue, moving around a table covered in candles.

Ahead of the first dance, the bride sits her bouquet of flowers down in a vase in the middle of the table.

However, when placing it down, one of the flowers accidentally touches a candle flame and the bouquet quickly catches alight.

Guests immediately start screaming in horror and Emily's hands fly to her mouth in shock.

Thankfully her wedding photographer and a male guest are quick to rush over, grab the flowers and put the fire out by stamping on it.

Emily, from the US, looks mortified, as her new husband rubs his hand on her back sympathetically.

Everyone laughs and cheers once the fire has been put out and the crisis has been averted.

More than one million people have since watched the clip, with thousands liking and commenting on it.

The photographer even got involved in the conversation (@forthewestandwildphoto) saying: "I'm the photographer and thanks for the love guys. Two things - she was told to put the flowers there, she isn't dumb and don't worry I wasn't mad at them for clapping for the guy. I got plenty of praise haha."

Someone else said: "Wedding photographers have no fear and will do anything for a bride."

A different user wrote: "Crying! Oh my gosh!"

While another person added: "Girl you better have tipped that photographer."
