Weddings are supposed to be the happiest day of the married couple's life, but when something goes wrong on the day it can get the marriage off to a rocky start.
One woman has rallied support online after penning a forum post from her honeymoon, explaining what happened on her wedding day.
The anonymous woman, who wrote on Reddit's Am I The A**hole forum, explained that she had kicked her stepdaughter out of her wedding, and now her husband was being distant with her.
Explaining how it all happened, the 42-year-old said she had a difficult relationship with her stepdaughter, whose mother passed away when she was young.

She added: "I have always tried to have a connection with her, but she was always very against me. She's tried pinning us against each other for as long as I can remember or she just not friendly to me."
One thing that helped repair the relationship was when she asked the 19-year-old to be her bridesmaid.
The woman continued: "I chose a light blue for my bridesmaid dresses but let them pick the dress, and my husband bought [his daughter's] since she's in college and only works part time and was worried she wouldn't be able to afford an elegant enough dress for our wedding."
But it all went wrong on the wedding day itself, when her stepdaughter came down to the dressing room in a "white, long fluffy dress" which was "very similar to a wedding dress".
When asked why she was wearing it, the stepdaughter said she "liked this one better, light blue is ugly". The woman was "so mad", she told her to change and go and sit down, because she didn't want her as a bridesmaid in that dress. However, she got angry and left completely.
She continued: "She got angry and instead left. After my husband noticed [his daughter] wasn't in the wedding he began acting weird. He was very cold and off the rest of the day, even after I explained what happened."
The woman, who was writing the post from their honeymoon, said they had a "big argument" about it, and that it had "ruined the honeymoon" because he was still being "a little distant".
The bride gained a lot of support online from forum users who said the stepdaughter was making a "power play".
Another person said: "She bought a white dress? White? Your husband needs to talk to a few more people, or just google it. Only the bride wears white to the wedding, that's common knowledge."
" I'm betting she was counting on being kicked out to play the victim. I wonder if she really would have gone through with wearing it to the ceremony," added another.
