Bride fumes at wedding dress 'mistake' before realising her own embarrassing error

A soon-to-be-bride was put in her place after complaining her wedding dress looking "nothing like" the one she ordered for the big day.

The woman sent out an angry message to the bridalwear firm after it appeared the dress was different to what she first noticed on the mannequin.

She attached two photos of the dress to compare what she saw in-store to what she put on at home, reports the Mirror.

The picture from the mannequin showed a fishtail design with frills, while the one she put on had many of the details missing.

But her error quick unravelled as the company responded to point out the reason why the dress looked different.

“Hi, you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way”, the firm said in response.

The bride was left in stitches at her own "blonde moment" and shared the hilarious mishap on Facebook.

She wrote: "Two weeks ago my wedding dress came in. I was really upset about the looks of it and sent an angry email to the company wanting to return it.

"I took pictures of me in the dress telling them it looked nothing like what I had ordered.

"Well, today I received this response from the company 'you put the dress on inside out, please put it on the right way’.

The post racked up hundreds of shares, as one person commented to say: "Girl I'm over here dying to see pictures of you with it inside out."

A second wrote: "Thank you for this! I needed the laugh! I just love you! You looked beautiful, even inside out!"

And another added: "I just p***ed myself."
