Bride ends relationship with best friend after asking her to make wedding invites

A bride-to-be who asked her graphic designer best friend to make her wedding invites says their friendship is now OVER. The bride-to-be says a child could have made better ones.

The invites were posted in Reddit forum That's It, I'm Wedding Shaming. The user explained: "Bride asked a friend of hers who was studying graphic design to design her invites."

According to the Birmingham Mail, they continued: "This looks like Times New Roman [font] on a snowflake background!" They added: "Bride's mom (who is not good with computers) ended up designing MUCH BETTER invites on some wedding website herself."

A Redditor replied saying: "My ex husband was a graphic designer. I met him while he was still in school studying it, and many of his classmates’ work looked exactly like this. Or worse. It was a good college, too, but indeed they didn’t seem to have any skill/talent prerequisites."

"Yeah, I kept staring at the capitalized "Dinner Reception". I don't think reception shouldve been capitalized, but I'm not world's best writer either...," said another. Another asked: "Before I'm shaming, I'd like to know the exact circumstances. Was this a wedding gift or was friend being compensated for her time? If so, it's a bit awful. If zero effort from bride to recompense her friend happened, then she got the invitations she deserved."

Another said: "I think the person is just horrible at their choice of career and have no creativity. Graphic design is a form of art. It takes thinking and imagination."
