When it comes to weddings, we tend to think of classy, romantic occasions - churches, formal wear and champagne toasts.
But one couple decided to have fun and spice up their big day.
Now, we're not talking about having a doughnut wall or a themed reception - they had something a little racier in mind.
In an article for BodyAndSoul.com.au the unnamed bride confessed how she and her husband had agreed she'd wear a sex toy underneath her wedding dress - as her 'something new'.
The woman explained how they had two weddings, one in the US where her family were based and a second in Australia, where her husband's family live.
Days before the second event, her partner presented her with a mobile-controlled vibrator which she was to have on in secret during the celebrations.
The groom would control the device from his phone, increasing and decreasing the power as and when he wanted.
This was mostly harmless fun throughout the evening - until it came time for the bride to make a speech.
She recalled: "The actual experience started off pretty slow. In fact, there were points I had thought Sam had forgotten about it, or was too distracted by socialising or dancing. But then came the speeches.
"My husband got up to start the process. He gave his speech, my in-laws gave their joint welcome, and then it was my turn.
"As I got about midway into my speech he increased the intensity of the vibration. When this began I completely lost my place and began to wriggle around like I needed to desperately go to the toilet.
"There were a few strange looks as if people were wondering what I was doing - and then there was my husband’s face, smiling with a look in his eye as if he was enjoying this power very much."
She continued to say that there was one other moment, later on in the evening after everyone had been drinking, where her partner once again decided to crank up the vibrations to an intense level.
"For the last two hours he would do this sporadically, once he even went to the bathroom where he could really concentrate on what he was doing. This was the time where I nearly orgasmed in the middle of the dancefloor, literally surrounded by family and friends."
She added: "At the end of the night when we went back to our suite, despite being completely exhausted, that little extra ‘fun’ had made for the best foreplay of my life."
