Newmilns homeowners had a brick lobbed through their window last week.
The King Street residents were in their livingroom when the object crashed through to their house at around 9pm on Sunday, September 29.
It's understood that the homeowners were in the property at the time of the attack.
Police say that the act has caused a three-figure sum of damage at the property.
