Brice Samba is set to sign a four-year deal at Nottingham Forest, according to L'Equipe.
The 25-year-old Caen goalkeeper is understood to have today arrived in England to undergo a medical at the City Ground, after the Reds agreed a fee with the French Ligue 2 club.
L'Equipe claim the transfer fee involved is around 2.1m euros.

Samba, who began his career at Marseille, was Caen's No.1 in Ligue 1 last season as they suffered relegation from the top flight in France.
Forest have already signed goalkeeper Aro Muric on a season-long loan from Manchester City, and he started the opening Championship match of the new season against West Brom.
The Reds also currently have Costel Pantilimon, Luke Steele and Jordan Smith on their books.
