Brian Windhorst says Klutch Sports are among the finalists to sign Zion Williamson

Earlier this week, we discussed how Klutch Sports remains in play for the services of Zion Williamson who has not yet signed with an agent following the NBA Draft Lottery. On Wednesday’s episode of ‘The Jump’ with Rachel Nichols, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst expanded on this topic. During the show, Windhorst reported that the list of agencies who have a chance at signing Zion includes Roc Nation, CAA and Klutch Sports. That exchange between Rachel and Brian is below.

“Zion is meeting with agents,” Nichols said. “Who are some of the finalists?”

“It’s the big agencies that have a chance at him,” Windhorst replied. “Roc Nation, CAA and Klutch Sports is in there.”

You can watch the discussion in the video below at the 4:28 mark.

During the show, the topic of Zion potentially returning to Duke was also discussed. Since Williamson hasn’t signed with an agent, or inked his shoe deal, he remains eligible for college basketball. He has until 10 days before the NBA Draft to withdraw his name from consideration while retaining his eligibility. But this isn’t exactly a possibility I’d be willing to wager on. In all likelihood, one of those big agencies that Windhorst mentioned closes the deal in the coming weeks and signs this once in a generation superstar. At this point, the possibility of the most hyped prospect since LeBron James joining The King at Klutch is not out of the question.
