Brian Robison officially retires after signing 1-day contract with Vikings

What a career it was for Brian Robison.

After spending 11 seasons with the Vikings, Robison signed a one-day with the team on Wednesday, officially retiring a Viking.

Robison was a fan favorite during his time in Minnesota for who he was on and off the field.

As a former fourth-round pick, nobody expected Robison to be the type of player he became, except for probably himself.

Robison was part of two teams that advanced to the NFC Championship game. In his career, he finished with 60 career sacks, a mark that ranks tied for fifth in team history with Kevin Williams.

From 2011-13, Robison combined for 25.5 sacks.

Throughout his career, Robison made more than $42 million, per Spotrac.

We wish nothing but the best for Robison in his retirement. We have a feeling it will involve plenty of fishing.
