Brian O'Driscoll and Amy Huberman say rugby prayer of the faithful at son's christening

Leinster legend Brian O'Driscoll and actress Amy Huberman have christened their ten-month-old baby son, Ted.

The couple shared pictures from the big day on their Instagram, with Amy giving fans a glimpse of her outfit, while Brian gave a behind-the-scenes look at the religious event.

And the prayers of the faithful gave a nod to the Irish rugby team as Brian also shared the important words that were read during the service.

One prayer read: “Dear Lord, we pray that Ireland haven't peaked again in the middle of a Rugby World Cup cycle, and that we finally get to the holy grail of a semi final. Lord hear us.”

BOD’s Instagram post also featured the cake and the Godparents. The caption read: “ The chocolate biscuit cake was almost too pretty to eat @mackenziegenevieve (but we managed it). SAVAGE it was.

“Great day with family and friends and big shout out to @noelsmorris and Grelish for nailing their godparent roles. Also not sure prayers of the faithful come any more heartfelt! #Ted.”

Amy also took to her Instagram to share the stunning black and red floral dress with statement Edwardian oversized collar that she wore on the day.

The 42-year-old said: “Dotey McDoterson dress from the dote dress queens @queensofarchive. The baby had total bib envy. Would be very happy for someone to spoon feed me my dinner now, burp me then sing me a nursery rhyme and rock me to sleep.

“Preferably not 3 blind mice…. She cut off their tails with a carving knife, have you ever seen such a thing in your life..?! Ehhhhm no. Thankfully.”

The couple welcomed their third child during lockdown on December 28th 2020. They’re also parents to Sadie and Billy.
