Brian McFadden was on cloud nine as he unveiled the first snap of his newborn baby daughter.

The 41-year-old Westlife star and his fiancée Danielle Parkinson were thrilled to confirm over the weekend that they had welcomed their first child together.

Days after confirming the happy news, Brian took to social media to proudly show off the first image that featured a tiny glimpse of his baby girl.

In the post, that Brian shared with his 280,000 Instagram followers, the musician tenderly placed his fans on his baby girl's fingers while they enjoyed a cuddle.

Alongside the cute snap, Brian simply added a heart emoji as he swooned over his baby girl.

Naturally, the new parents were swiftly inundated with sweet messages from fans who wished the couple congratulations on welcoming their bundle of joy.

"A precious treasure. So cute," added a second.

While Brian and Danielle have shared a snap of their baby, there are yet to reveal what name they have decided to give their daughter.

Brian's latest picture comes days after the couple confirmed that they had become parents to a baby girl by unveiling a picture of himself pushing a pram.

At the time, Brian's ex Kerry Katona also penned a sweet message as she wished the couple well upon the birth of their first child together.

While Brian and Danielle are overjoyed to have finally become parents, they had previously revealed that it hadn't been an easy road for the pair.

Danielle had sadly suffered two miscarriages before getting pregnant with their baby daughter via IVF.

The couple, who revealed their exciting baby news during the pandemic, then decided to skip having a gender reveal party because it was during the lockdown.

The new mum had also previously reflected upon the couple's IVF journey and difficulties surrounding getting pregnant in a candid Instagram Live session.

She said at the time: "We were told all the worst news, given worst case scenarios but you just have to keep going and trying everything you can.

"Getting your body and your head in the best physical health is the most important thing... if it's something you really want you've just got to throw everything at it."
