Brian McFadden has told fans 'his face is calming down' after he shared a worrying video clip of himself with a swollen face.

Sitting back in bed with enlarged lips and puffy eyes he bravely poked fun of the situation by singing the LMFAO song Sexy And I Know It. He wrote with the video posted on Wednesday evening: "Stung by a bee and got an allergic reaction!! Owning that look! Free Botox and fillers!!!!!"

Brian wrote with the picture wrote: "My face is calming down again. Thanks for all your lovely messages. Now excited to play in the @mariekeatingfoundation golf day at the Kclub. An incredible charity always a brilliant day and catching up with old friends."

His recovery meant he was able to take part in a planned charity golf tournament for The Marie Keating Foundation - a cancer charity set up by the Keating family, including Ronan Keating, in memory of the Boyzone singer's mum Marie.

Replying to Brian, Ronan said: "So happy to see you on the mend. Thank you for always supporting us B".

Other followers were pleased to see Brian looking better with katehunterphotography writing: "Phew. Have a fabulous day. " Giovanna Morabito added: "I'm glad you recovered, bee bites are very dangerous for anaphylactic shock. A peaceful day!".

And athlete and presenter Jamie Baulch replied: "Good to see you're recovering bud!".

In 2017 the Irish singer revealed he had moved to Rochdale and said it was now his “first home” after finding love with PE teacher Danielle Parkinson. Brian, who was previously married to Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona and Irish model Vogue Williams, got engaged to Danielle in December 2019.

Father of two Brian, who was a member of the chart-topping boyband Westlife from 1998 to 2004, welcomed a baby girl with Danielle last year. The couple had previously revealed that they were expecting a 'miracle' baby after suffering two miscarriages.

They told OK! magazine thay they had turned to IVF after trying for a baby for two years. Danielle fell pregnant twice, but both ended in devastating miscarriages.
