Brian McFadden calls out his mum and dad for laughing at Dancing on Ice Fall

Brian McFadden has shamed his parents for laughing at his Dancing on Ice fall.

The former Westlife singer, 38, stacked it on the ice with his professional partner Alex Murphy, which cost him a place in next Sunday’s grand final.

McFadden posted a pictured of his parents with judge Jason Gardiner, writing: “That moment you drop your partner on Dancing on Ice and your biggest critics love it!!!! @thejasongardiner and my mum and dad (sic).”

McFadden dropped Murphy as they performed to Sir Elton John’s Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me in the dreaded skate off after he failed to let go of her leg, causing her to lose her balance.

The judges voted unanimously to save former X Factor star Saara Aalto, with Gardiner telling him he may have been saved had he not tripped.

“It pains me to do this because, had you not fallen Brian, this would have been a very different outcome,” he said.

McFadden apologised to fans for ‘letting them down,’ saying he had “butter fingers”.

Brian McFadden calls GC 'a pain in the backside'

He tweeted: “Yes it was sad but it’s been the greatest craic ever!!! And 3 super finalists! @The_JamesJordan @WesNelsonUk @saaraaalto big love to @almurph18 if I hadn’t had butter fingers who knows?

“Thanks so much to everyone who voted for us and I’m sorry I let you down x.”

Fans were “gutted” with the result with many claiming the fall should not have cost McFadden his place in the final.

Wes Nelson, James Jordan and Aalto will compete to be crowned the 2019 champion.

Dancing on Ice is on ITV, Sunday at 6pm
