Brian McFadden and fiancee have 'best week' of their lives as they welcome first child

Brian McFadden and fiancee Danielle Parkinson said it’s been “the best week” of their lives as they welcomed their first child together.

The former Westlife singer announced the happy news in an Instagram post yesterday with a black and white snap of Danielle pushing their baby girl in a pram.

Brian, 41, captioned the image: “Mammy, Daddy and baby out for our first walk together. It’s been the best week of our life.”

The couple had previously revealed they were expecting a baby girl.

Dubliner Brian is yet to reveal details of the new arrival, including her name and when and where she was born.

The couple announced in November they were expecting a “miracle” baby after suffering two miscarriages.

Danielle told OK! Magazine: “We’re due on 14 May. But they said normally with your first baby it can be early.”

They went through 17 months of IVF before announcing they were past the three-month pregnancy mark.

Former PE teacher Danielle, 39, said at the time: “It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel awful saying that, as I’ve had so many messages on Instagram.

“The IVF community is so lovely and I’ve heard real traumatic stories from people who have been trying for 10 years, people who have had eight-plus miscarriages, so I feel we got lucky on our third attempt.”

Brian already shares teenage daughters Molly and Lilly with his ex-wife Kerry Katona, who was among the many friends and famous faces to
share well wishes to the new parents, posting love heart emojis when the news broke.

Former Boyzone singer Shane Lynch also sent his love, whilst reality TV star Gemma Collins said: “I love you both. Happy to babysit anytime.”
