Brian McFadden admits he’s ‘had enough of the GC’ amid reports of 'diva' antics

Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden has said that he’s “had enough” of the GC, the “diva” alter ego of his fellow Dancing on Ice contestant Gemma Collins.

The star told Loose Women that while he “loves” Collins, her larger than life persona can be “hard to take.”

“The GC is the character she plays when she’s a diva and that’s probably the one that people give out about,” he explained, before revealing that he felt “sorry” for the TOWIE star, who recently opened up about suffering with stress-induced nightmares.

“But Gemma is beautiful and I feel so sorry for Gemma now because all the headlines are talking about diva demands and leaving early and stuff,” he said.

McFadden explained that Collins is “working so hard, people have no idea.”

“I’ve been sitting in her dressing room when she’s crying just from the tiredness, she’s working so hard,” he added, before revealing that he is not afraid to tell his friend when he’s had “enough” of the GC.

“We’ve got a good relationship and I do say ‘that’s enough of the GC, let’s see Gemma,’” he said.

Gemma Collins says she's still waiting for an apology from the lying Dancing On Ice star

Earlier today, Collins told ITV’s Lorraine that she had been “throwing up on the ice” after an unnamed co-star “lied” about her going missing backstage during a Dancing on Ice dress rehearsal.

“There were lots of tears, my family were very distressed,” she said. “Obviously it has caused nothing but endless pain.”

“We sort of know where the rumours come from but we’re trying to get the person to admit it and stand up and apologise,” she continued, alluding to the leak.

“I’ve got text messages, I’ve got voice messages confirming I wasn’t asleep and that I never said I was bored.”
