Brian Flores confirms Dolphins will stick with Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB

With Sunday’s 59-10 game well out of hand for the Miami Dolphins, second year quarterback Josh Rosen entered the game with seconds left in the 3rd quarter. Rosen threw a quick stop route on his only snap before the end of the quarter. His second throw? An interception to CB Marlon Humphrey along the right sideline.

Rosen didn’t get much help from WR Jakeem Grant on the play, as Grant rounded off the top of his route and drifted up the field instead of working back to the football along the sideline.

No matter — the damage was done and the narrative set.

After the 59-10 loss was over, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores confirmed that this was not a changing of the guard — but rather Ryan Fitzpatrick was pulled from the game due to the stark difference on the scoreboard. Dolphins fans hoping to see Josh Rosen work into the lineup sooner rather than later, that wait will have to be put on hold for at least another week.
