Brian Baldinger says Texans LT Laremy Tunsil ‘pitched a no-hitter’ against Browns DE Myles Garrett

Houston Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil may not be up for any of the weekly awards, but he did get some recognition after his effort against Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett in the 31-21 loss in Week 2.

NFL analyst Brian Baldinger broke down Tunsil’s film on his Twitter account. Baldinger talked about how the two-time Pro Bowler was able to keep Garrett away from quarterbacks Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills.

“It’s not like the Texans are bereft of talent,” said Baldinger. “They still have maybe the league’s best left tackle in Laremy Tunsil. And he went up against Myles Garrett a bunch in this game and really had no problem whatsoever. Every once in a while he came over and they helped him or whatever, but he locked him up. I mean, Myles Garrett could not get to the quarterback in this game. You watch play after play after play.”

Later in the evaluation, Baldinger said that Tunsil “pitched a no-hitter” against the former 2017 No. 1 overall pick.

Garrett finished the afternoon with just four combined tackles and was unable to get a quarterback hit.

Pro Football Focus evaluated Tunsil as the third-worst pass blocker on the Texans in Week 2 with a 63.0 grade.
