Brian Baldinger advocates for Miami to draft OL Jonah Williams

Brian Baldinger is one of the more animated film analysts on the scene. Known for his impassioned breakdowns on social media, which Baldinger tags with the hashtag #BaldysBreakdowns, the retired 11-year NFL pro can put on quite a show.

Baldinger stepped into the studio in the buildup to next week’s NFL Draft and, in typical Baldinger form, spoke about a candidate that he feels the Miami Dolphins should focus on adding to help rebuild their roster — Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams.

The selection of Williams would not be one that surprises and Williams’ positional flexibility is most assuredly a bonus to the Dolphins. Whether the team wants to play him at left guard or right tackle, Williams is an upgrade and helps to further flesh out the talent level of an offensive line that is sorely lacking.

Baldinger clearly feels the same.

“I just think, let’s fix the offensive line. You’ve got Laremy Tunsil over there (on the left), let’s put Jonah Williams up there (at right tackle) and let’s start building these team up front.”

Mock drafts are heating up with Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins to Miami as of late, but Miami’s plan certainly feels more focused on the rest of the team — including the offensive line.
