Brian Allen carted to locker room with knee injury

The Los Angeles Rams made a change to their starting offensive line on Sunday by flipping Austin Blythe and David Edwards at guard. They were forced to make another change at center, too, but not by choice.

Center Brian Allen left the game in the second quarter with a knee injury and had to be helped off the field by trainers. After getting to the sideline, he was carted to the locker room.

He was ruled questionable to return.

The injury occurred as Jared Goff was sacked on third down on the Rams’ first drive of the second quarter.

On the Rams’ next offensive possession, Blythe moved inside from left guard to center. Austin Corbett took Blythe’s place, making his Rams debut after being traded by the Browns.
