Brexit Q and A: How will the EU referendum result affect you?

In the wake of the results of Friday's EU referendum, many British people are filled with worry and uncertainty about the possible affects of the country's exit from the European Union. 

The UK has taken a step into the unknown, with many wondering how drastic changes in the global market will directly effect people living in Britain. 

The Independent’s chief economic commentator, Hamish McCrae, fielded a number of questions during a Facebook Live session, answering queries from members of the public. 

Among topics covered were house prices, employment figures, European holidays, the EU membership fee and the future of the stock market. 

Analysing the short and long-term effects of the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, Mr McCrae also explains how Brexit led to stock markets all over the world hitting record lows, and how they might recover.
