Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has claimed his outfit could WIN a general election after being reelected to the European Parliament.
Mr Farage, who was Brexit Party's lead candidate in the election was top of the party's list in the South East region.
His party won a whopping 915,686 votes and four seats in the South East region amid a national wipeout as both Labour and the Tories lost votes.
But the anti-Brexit Lib Dems also won 653,743 votes and three seats after coming in second place - prompting cheers at the count in Southampton.
The Tories won just one seat - down from three in 2014 - as did Labour, the same number of seats Labour won in 2014.
Farage hailed the result as unprecedented for a newly-formed party and warned his party could WIN in a general election if Brexit doesn't happen on October 31.
He said in his victory speech: "The Labour and Conservative Parties could learn a big message from tonight - though I don't suppose they actually will.
"If we don't leave on October 31 then the scores you've seen for the Brexit Party today will be repeated in a general election.
"And we are getting ready for it."
It comes as the newly founded party was set to win the most seats, with opinion polls over the last few weeks suggesting they were on course to pull off a big political upset.
The South East is the UK's largest region in the European Parliament and elects 10 MEPs.
The victory comes at the end of a campaign which saw Mr Farage travel to all corners of the UK - but also saw him 'milkshaked' during a trip to Newcastle.
The Conservatives and Labour abraced for a backlash from voters over Brexit with Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell predicting his party would get a "kicking" from voters.
The Liberal Democrats , from the opposite side of the Brexit divide, are also expected to pick up votes.
The European elections took place almost three years after the UK voted to leave the EU because of Theresa May's failure to get her Brexit deal through Parliament, and could deliver a damaging blow for the Tories after a distinctly lacklustre campaign.
