The Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage has become the latest victim of the recent milkshake craze.
Mr Farage was struck by a milkshake on a visit to Newcastle city centre on Monday afternoon, reports Chronicle Live.
He was visiting the city ahead of the European elections on Thursday.
It was his second stop of the day after joining lead Brexit Party candidate for the South West, Ann Widdecombe, in Exeter first thing this morning.

He then travelled the 370 miles north where he was hit by a 'banana and salted caramel milkshake' despite being surrounded by security.
Mr Farage was crossing Blackett Street close to Monument when he was hit by the drink by a male protester.

Several pro-Brexit politicians have been subjected to the same bizarre protest in recent weeks including far-right activist Tommy Robinson and South West Ukip candidate Carl Benjamin.

Mr Farage could be heard saying to his security "this is a failure" and "how did that happen?" immediately after.
He was heckled several times as he went down Northumberland Street but also received plenty of support from members of the public as well.

There was no organised protest as he arrived as his visit had not been pre-announced.
Mr Farage was only intending to be in the city for under an hour before another rally visit in Wakefield and another later in Bolton.

Following the incident he tweeted: "Sadly some remainers have become radicalised, to the extent that normal campaigning is becoming impossible.
"For a civilised democracy to work you need the losers consent, politicians not accepting the referendum result have led us to this."
