Theresa May is set to return to the UK from a crunch EU summit empty-handed following a major setback to her Brexit plans in Brussels last night.
European Council president Donald Tusk warned the Prime Minister that the Withdrawal Agreement was "not open for renegotiation" after she pleaded for concessions to avoid a disorderly no-deal outcome.
Mrs May is due to give a press conference at the summit in Brussels around noon before closing statements by Mr Tusk, and European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker.
The PM's visit came at the end of a bruising week that has seen her delay the vote on the meanginful vote on her Brexit deal in Parliament, then win a no confidence vote brought by MPs.
