MPs have voted to approve a bill that will force Theresa May to seek an extension to Article 50 in an attempt to avoid a no-deal Brexit.
On another night of drama in the Commons, Labour MP Yvette Cooper's EU Withdrawal Bill was fast-tracked through Parliament.
The proposal would legally bind the Prime Minister into seeking a Brexit extension beyond April 12 if a deal isn't passed.
It comes after MPs failed in a bid to take over the Commons timetable on Monday for a third round of indicative votes on Brexit alternatives. Speaker John Bercow wielded his casting vote after MPs split 310-310.
